Vintage 1960s Chicago Cubs Glove – A Unique Collector’s Piece
This one-of-a-kind vintage 1960s Cubs glove is a must-have for any true Chicago Cubs fan or collector. Hand-painted in the team’s iconic red and blue, it showcases unique design elements that celebrate Cubs history.
The glove features bold Cubs blue lettering and matching blue laces, along with the classic vintage “C” Cubs logo used from 1957 to 1976 painted in the palm of the glove. The white webbing is accented with blue pinstripes, a tribute to the Cubs’ home uniforms worn since 1907. Although it is faded, the original Cubs logo patch is still on the wrist strap! Completing the design, the Cubs bear logo, used from 1962 to 1971, is beautifully painted on the thumb.
While this glove is well-constructed and can be used for gameplay, its compact 10.5-inch size makes it best suited as a collector’s item or display piece.
